About Cecilia
I am an Accredited Social Worker with advanced training in Strategic Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnosis, and EMDR.
I graduated from UNSW in 2012 and have spent over a decade working within the South Western Sydney Local Health District hospital system, as well as community palliative care services. My work has involved supporting individuals facing complex trauma, medical illness, addiction, and high-pressure life circumstances.
Working in hospital environments requires clarity, containment, and structured decision-making. I bring that same focused approach into private practice.
My Approach
I work primarily with professionals and business owners who appear capable externally but are privately overwhelmed.
Many of my clients:
• Carry significant responsibility
• Struggle to switch off
• Overthink decisions long after work ends
• Feel frustrated that insight alone hasn’t created change
My approach is structured and strategic.
Rather than open-ended counselling, we identify the pattern maintaining the problem and intervene efficiently. I integrate evidence-based approaches — including Strategic Psychotherapy, EMDR, and Clinical Hypnosis — based on what will create the most effective shift.
Most clients complete therapy within 6–10 sessions.
Why I Do This Work
Earlier in my career, I experienced the difference between therapy that offers insight and therapy that creates change.
That experience shaped the direction of my training and practice.
I chose to train in approaches that focus on pattern interruption, emotional regulation, and measurable progress — because insight alone is rarely enough.
Professional Background
• Bachelor of Social Work – UNSW (2012)
• Accredited Social Worker (AASW)
• Diploma in Clinical Hypnosis & Strategic Psychotherapy
• EMDR Trained
• Senior Hospital Social Worker – SWSLHD

Who This Is For
My work suits individuals who:
• Value structure and accountability
• Prefer clarity over open-ended exploration
• Want focused, time-limited therapy
• Are ready to actively engage in change
If you are seeking purely supportive, long-term exploratory therapy, this may not be the right fit.
“This Therapy Changed My Life.
I don’t just offer this style of therapy. I’ve experienced it myself.
It changed how I think, how I show up, how I lead.
That’s why I trained in it. That’s why I now help others break patterns that no longer serve them.
This is the therapy I wish I’d had sooner.”
